NEW PARADIGM ...

Today somehow I arrived so much earlier at Bukit Jalil and I was the first to board the van. Enjoyed myself listening to special programmes in tribute to Allahyarham P. Ramlee.

Arrived at the office and updated several things. At 10.00 I joined Aida in a meeting with Wong Su Wei, one of the managers at Media Sales. We were discussing about several programmes and it seems there will be quite a lot of things happening just as I am about to leave and literally I need to be here on 3rd July for a shoot of Phonetic Challenge for Smart Reader Worldwide.

From the meeting I learnt several more new things such as with the company is the main sponsor of a particular programme then, there's a need to mention the sponsor's name e.g Anmum Essential Tom Tom Bak but if there are only co - sponsor then there's no need to mention the name...

I also learnt that for a programme to be aired on TV, we can only come up with detailed description of the event and forward it to the station and then they will see whether it's worth televised and will get a production house to work on it or a production house can up with a concept and further work with the station... Hmmm... suddenly Robocon comes into my mind.

Jihan asked me to help her with commisioning which I actually have witnessed her being very very busy with them lately. Though initially Aida insisted to get me out of the picture because she was afraid that they might be too dependent on me, but I really don't mind helping out. Pity looking at Jihan and Aida slaving themselves getting everything ready while I have the most minimum work to do...

Commisioning.... Here I come... If it goes well...credit to Jihan because her manual works. If I screw up, then the manual should be the one to be blamed.

WORK...WORK...AND WORK...

I reached Bukit Jalil stop over at 8.25 but unfortunately the van left already. Tried to stop several taxis but when I mentioned Equine Park, the drivers will just refused to take me. The worst part was, the people around me who are waiting for taxis cut queues. So not bercivic minded...huh huh

Finally, an abang taxi took me to the office via Puncak Jalil way...there goes my RM 12.50. Nobody was in so I just sat at my computer and update things. At about 10.00 Aida came in informing that Jihan will be on MC.

My day was filled with me doing the last touches on the BM and BI leaflets. Then Aida asked whether I have started on the Celebration ( Fillers ) project and I told her that I need to wait for Kelvin's call. But originally, I've researched a bit on the holidays and observances celebrated by Asian as well as UK and US so I just print them out.

Aida called me for a meeting with Zahrul ( This is IT's production ) where he was to show us the pilot of This Is IT. Noted that there's several pronunciation errors made by Anding so I decided to review the CD later.

Aida then requested me to come up with a proposal of 1 x 30' show of Gain Family Discovery Camp plus the interview protocol and if possible to come up with maybe 3 x 10' proposal of the same thing.

After lunch I sat down and really worked on it and managed to complete the 1 x 30' proposal. Aida came in later informing that she just had a meeting with Javerd and they probably need the proposal by 10.00 tomorrow since they can't manage to produce one. So Aida said, she'll just bring forward my proposal to the Media Sales.

Next week will be a very busy week for all of us. We are going thru the Focus session but unfortunately I will not be around. The sesion will be on 5 and 6th June when I would be in Kota Kinabalu for the conference. I would probably learnt a lot during that time if I am around... but it's okay... Aida or Jihan will be kind enough to brief everything to me I hope...

At the moment, they are shooting Gaia at Wisma Penyayang. This morning they were downstairs and now they are here in the office. So basically I am doing my work while they are actors and actress lingering all over the place. We have Kefli, Tam and Nora Danish. Just now they were shooting in one of the bosses' office and now they are shooting at the workplace area. Vijaya said we have to control ayu because we never know they may shoot us and we'll might be in TV... Heh heh. They are now going around asking people who would like to be extras...

OOOOHHH...I'M IN PAIN

On Monday, we had a light dinner. The children had roti canai while I have roti telur. When back home and watched Cuci and Duyong. Suddenly I felt quite hungry, so Syamil was sent down to buy nasi goreng Cina...

Since everybody was quite full, I had the fried rice alone. Later that morning at about 2.00 I was awakened by a sudden pain. Went to the toilet for several times and in the end when I vomitted tremendously, I realised that I had a terrible food poisoning...

I headed for the office though was in terrible pain. As I drove, I felt a gush of cold and started to shiver...alamak dah demam pulak. I arrived at the office at about 9.30 and was very weak. I was trembling and in the end I told Jihan that I need to rest in the musolla. At about 12.00, Aida texted me to go back since the routine time was undecided.

I can't get up at all. I can only lied down and I didn't take any food cause I'm afraid it would bring more harm. Abang Khaizu asked me to eat panadol and he went to buy Koolfever for adults and ordered the children not to disturb me. Kak Ya and Naeim fought with each other... a lot of things can be the cause of their fight ... from fighting over which channel to watch up to fighting over who should sleep beside me...

Today, I feel much better though I still got the slight pain and giddiness. Went to work and Aida asked how far am I with the filler project. I know I need to start working on it since I have 3 big projects to be completed before I finish my SIP.

LA... YE KE...TAK SESUAI ....

I don't know what came over me but have been forgetting things lately. Last Wednesday, Kak Pooja informed about kenduri at Mak Yah's place and the time they'll move to rumah pengantin perempuan but unfortunately it turned out to be wrong information.

Kak Jun called me several times on Saturday morning but biasala... hari cuti...we will be fully, 100% sober after 9.00am. Called her back, dia tanya aku sihat ke tak and tanya why are still at home? I told her that we will be on your way since the kenduri is at night, but was truly shocked when she said she is at Mak Yah's house and the kenduri is in the morning...Huh...silly me!!!

Called the place, apoligized to Kak Len, fortunately she said okay but insisted that I join the rombongan hantar pengantin. Okay then, I don't mind that because we are not pretty sure whether we are going to Kedah or not...

On Sunday, we arrived at Subang 2 at about 10.30am, I enjoyed myself eating popiah and roti jala which I've been craving for. Tak lama kemudian, several of Kak Nor'en's relatives arrived at the house. Biasala orang perempuan bila dah jumpa banyak la nak cerite but ada satu kakak ni aku tak daya betul...

I don't know whether it's appropriate or not, at a kenduri yang ada ramai makcik - makcik, kau bercerite pasal the sooo maaaany maany times you had been travelling in and outside Malaysia. Dahla cerita tak sesuai ngan majlis pastu kuat - kuat... Aku pun tak paham kat mana relevannya kau kena mendabik dada bercerita kat semua orang mengenai pengalaman kau pergi shopping, how Bandung was great, how Jakarta was dirty... betapa miskinnya rakyat kat Vietnam and aku tak nampak apa sinambungnya cerita dia mengenai dia bercuti di Penang dan tidur di hotel yang berharga RM 1k semalam.

But sorry la kakak ye, come to think about it...ya...negara - negara yang kakak pergi tu takla mengembangkan minda sangat... Kalau setakat pegi Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam tu rasanya tak payahla... Currency exchange depa pun tak tinggi mana. Sesungguhnya sepanjang proses mendabik dada tu berlaku tu aku tak dengarla pulak dia sebut pegi umrah ke atau sebut pegi negara - negara yang currency exchange dia tinggi... Tak larat nak dengar, maka aku pun keluar dari rumah tu bawak adik Naeim main - main kat luar, lagi berfaedah....

Tulah ye...typical Melayu...bila rasa diri tu kaya sikit dari orang mesti nak berlagak lebih... Ni mesti kes baru nak kaya sebab tu berlagak lain macam. Sebab apa yang tengok, ada kawan - kawan yang memang dah kaya dari dalam perut mak depa, tak adala pulak berlagak... Humble aje.... Ha speaking of humble, we were so surprised when Nurul Izzah was at the brides place, siap ambik gambar lagi dengan Hisham and the wife.

Macam biasa waktu nak balik kami bersalaman dengan Hisham, anak buah aku yang selamat bergelar suami orang tu. Serasa sayu pulak hati bila si Hisham mencium tangan aku sambil tak putus - putus mintak aku doakan perkahwinannya.

Cik Mimi...thank you for coming... Please bless me

LAMA TAK JUMPA...

Berbalas - balas SMS ngan Natrah pagi tadi and suddenly she mentioned Eli's name. Aku pun mintak no. telefon minah tu sebab dah lama sangat tak dengar cite dia...

Raja Eliza Mohana,
  • a dear old friend yang dah lama sangat aku tak jumpa
  • antara kawan rapat yang segeng dan sekepala ngan aku
  • just don't know how it started but kitorang jadi gang ( a group of us actually ) yang selalu ada happening things to do and Eli ni dah jadi macam ketua kitorang
  • she is witty, pandai menari and probably kepandaian aku ( pandai ke???

Buloh rupanya sekarang dah dara sunti, dah masuk asrama pun. Yelah..anak aku sendiri dah 9 tahun...

Tak sedar masa berjalan cepat sangat... Aku masih teringat lagi macamana havocnya kami kat sekolah dulu. Mentang - mentangla senior so we really ruled the place...man. Dengan bersiap lambatnya, tak pergi breakfast, pukul 7 baru nak tinggalkan blok asrama... Pastu orang gi kelas ikut gajah menyusur tapi kitorang detour sampai ikut jalan kat kuarters cikgu. Orang tak nak buat common duty kalau masa inspection but kitorang siap volunteer sebab kalau buat common duty dapat kumpul sama - sama. Maklum saja kitorang lain - lain homeroom...

Looking forward to meet everybody on this coming reunion of batch 86 - 90 SEMESTA in Swiss Garden.

FLY TIMES FLY...

I started the day by viewing some screeners. I am bit frustrated because the CDs cannot run well because the player must be dirty. I've informed Jasbir last week but unfortunately the condition remains the same.

Little updates about things which happened yesterday... We had a meeting with RL in the afternoon. Aida asked whether I can help in working with the production of English ( Malaysian version ) programme with ABC people. Oooh... glad to...

Got 2 complimentary tickets to AF6 final tomorrow night. At first I was so thrilled to go but then when I think about it, might be better if I just watch it on TV... Hmmm... still considering...

Got several relieving news from abang Khaizu and Devi also mentioned about DG 41 going to 44 and we both decided to discuss further with Encik Miswan but I resort to write a letter to NUTP regarding the issue. Hopefully there'll be more good news later on...

Jihan told me that I could probably get 2 more tickets from Kelvin but he said he hasn't collected them from Ejai. He'd probably pass the ticket to me later...hmmm bolehla bagi kat Nat and Cikgu Lan...

Started working on the English programme... Aida asked whether they could request for extension of my stay here but I don't think it is possible...

I just can't believe how times fly... I am already apporaching my 3rd month in ASTRO and soon I'll be finishing off...

PENAMAT YANG MUDAH...

Yesterday was a fine day. Went to Tanjong Malim and met the people at the office. Mizah told me she got a place in UM. Good for you, dear.

Went back and reached Bunga Raya at 17.30pm. I saw a lot of people kat rumah jiran bawah rumah aku. Ada kenduri kot... I thought but went straight up to my place. Last night my curiosity raised when I saw more people are at the place. And as usual, anak - anak kita akan jadi source yang efektif untuk dapatkan news. Aku tanya Syamil what happened and he told me this morning the nenek downstairs passed away.

Aku jadi terkejut sebab Syamil said she passed away at 6.00 am but when I went down pagi tadi takda pun orang kat rumah dia. But abang Khaizu did mentioned that he saw many people masa dia balik dari kerja and the chairs were outside the house but he thought jiran kitorang tu beli kerusi baru.

After dinner, I suggested maybe a. Khaizu should go down for the tahlil. He came back at 23.00pm and told me that it's true the nenek passed away. Yang menariknya, di kejiranan kami ni, jika ada sesiapa meninggal straightaway kereta jenazah akan datang and bawak jenazah ke Masjid Besar di Bukit Sentosa and everything will be done there. I got to know that, opah tu meninggal pukul 6 and by 9 dia dah selamat dikebumikan. That was quick man... Abang Khaizu said it was the practice yang dah memang digunapakai kat kawasan kami ni. Kira sistematikla tu kan ...

HAI YOU....

We had a long weekend recently... On Friday night we had a bowling tournament...actually it was SK Taman Bunga Raya punya function. I joined the teachers' group. I was in Team 8 and Abang Khaizu team 1. I was so embarrased because it took me one whole game to warm - up. The first game I did badly, then only things got better on the second game. Syamil was a strong supporter, kelakar tengok how he encouraged and gave kata - kata semangat to me...

Saturday nite, we had to go down to AESB to hand over a report to RL. We reached the office at 20.15pm and due to the size of the file, I couldn't send them via email. Fortunately RL came over so I handed over the pendrive to him.

On Sunday we just stayed at home..lepakking and watched TV. Planned to bake some cupcakes but as usualla kan, kalau dah namanya jadi potato couch tu, of course tak banyak yang boleh dikerjakan.

Yesterday was Wesak Day, so another day of holiday...At first, we were thinking of going to Kak Erie's house but in the end, we stayed at home. I was not well actually, kena gatal - gatal satu badan dah dekat one week. It was basically disturbing me so bad sebab bila malam aje badan rasa gatal sangat and bengkak macam digigit nyamuk.

I called kampung to get some opinion. Ngah said aku kena rengas a.k.a ludah langsuir, so I need to go and see any ustaz to be cured. The night before a. Khaizu tried reciting some qur' an verses ( al - Fatihah & Ayat Kursi ) to a bowl of water and later on he rubbed everything to my body as well as asking me to drink the water and alhamdulillah it worked so fine. Abang Khaizu suggested that I called abang Sahak to get some help...

Late in the evening, I took Kak Ya to the pasar malam nearby. We bought some kuih and a few sticks of ayam panggang ( actually cenonggeng ayam... he he ). Then we made our move. As we were walking towards the block, suddenly I heard Kak Ya shouted, Hai Kimi !!! and in front of us I saw a boy, about her age, smiling and waving and also shouting Hai Ya !!! I quickly looked at the boy's mother and we smiled to each other.

It triggered me, how different are kids nowadays and I was actually quite surprised with what happened... Bukan marah but... how remarkable has our kids way of socialising changed as time moves on. Rasanya, kita dulu takla seramah depa masa seumur mereka but I guess sebab they were send very early to nursery and playschool, so their ability to mix around has been developed quite fast kan...

Kadang - kadang looking at how my kids behave and reacts to certain things boleh buat aku jadi melodrama sikit but it's true kan, anak - anak ni memang macam kain putih... they'll absorb whatever came to them so kita punya tanggungjawab yang sangat besar untuk pastikan depa filter and pick up what's good and best for them...

SELAMAT HARI IBU PADA SEMUA IBU - IBU... KITA MEMANG BERPERANAN BESAR DALAM MEMBENTUK PERIBADI ANAK - ANAK KITA...

EARTH ITernity

On Saturday, I spent my morning to noon at the International Youth Centre ( IYC ) in Cheras for the Earth Iternity workshop. We were there to supervise things actually. I reached Bandar Tun Razak at about 9.15 and straightaway got in a taxi.

We ( me and Jihan ) went into the hall as Mr. Sarbuland Khan was delivering his speech. Aida and Amir were already there so we joined them at their table. Later on Aida took us to the room since Amir's session will start at 11.30. We watched a Malay movie, which the theme was about teacher ( in conjunction with Teacher's Day ). But sadly, the story was trash ( oopps sorry, Mr. T.S Jefferey ).The story was produced without proper research ( I guess ) because a lot of crucial elements have been neglected.

We went to the hall but the participants were not there... and while waiting for them, Amir jokingly asked us to identify the state flag as well as foreign countries' flag. Then Amir gave out his talk and it generated a very healthy discussion among the participants. As the session ended, some of the participants approached Amir to discuss more on the issue that had been put forward earlier.

It was rather liberating to listen to the teens' experiences such as going through war, being diasbled and many more.

HAPPY CIKGU DAY ...

12.00 midnite ... the message alert sounded and I was a little bit annoyed because it is midnite... Trying to get some sleep but I still make an effort to read the message. Menyesal rasa geram tadi. Rupanya dari Harziani wishing me Happy Teacher's Day. Tiba - tiba aku rasa sayu. Ada jugak anak murid yang ingat. It is because a lot of us think that it is very unsuitable for us to celebrate teacher's day coz we are now so called lecturers, but to me regardless what people all around the world called you or whatever terms used, when you are delivering ilmu pengetahuan kepada orang, you are a teacher....

Earlier yesterday, while I was busy preparing the presentation for RL, I received an advanced wish from Ramdan Jampar ( my x-student ). Jihan said they must be closed to me, or else they may have forgotten me by this time.

This morning, received several more wishes and they really touches my heart. Sent a wish to an old friend... The reply was,
Sama dari abang. Jadilah guru yang berguru...
Suddenly my Friday turns up to be a blue and sombre one... Looking at all the school children with their gifts and presents reminded me of old times. How I missed those days...

AS YET... UNTITLED

Started my journey a bit early today... As the train reached Kuang, a few ladies boarded the train and since there were no availaible seats, I offered mine to a kakak. She was a bit reluctant when she got to know that I will be going off at Serdang.. Kesian awak she said but it's okay. I know there'll be more empty places when we reached KL.

I was standing happily listen to the radio when I saw a man waving to me offering his place. Though I refused to, he insisted that I took his place. Since he was sitting at the far corner of the coach, it took me some times to get to the place. Assuming that I'll reach him at the right time, he quickly stood up to give me the place. Suddenly, another man quickly plunged forward and sat down. I was stunned by the action but pretended that everything was okay.

A nearby gentleman must have audienced the whole incident...so he offered his place to me. I thanked him and sat down... That's some of the beauty sight of Malaysian gentlemen I guess ( queer smile )...

I learnt a new phrase yesterday. We were meeting Amir Mahmood Razak to discuss about the things that he would take during the workshop. When asked by Aida on the title, he just said as yet untitled... He said that had been his answer ( since old old old time ) whenever people asked about the title of any of his presentation. And I also learnt some very inspiring saying ( also mentioned by Amir )

All diamonds begin life as a coal

GENTLEMEN...NOT SO LA...

Lately, aku dah jarang - jarang memandu ke ASTRO. One of the reason, aku drive sorang - sorang and selalu ngantuk so abang Khaizu said why not try public transportation? The other reason is, it is moooooooore economic.

Seronoknya naik train ni kita boleh relax serelaxnya. Biasanya kalau dapat tempat duduk, aku akan tidur sepanjang jalan dari Rawang ke Serdang. Sumbat telinga dengan earphone sambil dengar radio and doze off.

Sekarang aku dah ada cara baru. Rupanya selama ni ASTRO memang hantar and jemput staf dia yang berulang kat Stesen LRT BKT Jalil so pagi - pagi aku akan naik train terus sampai Serdang but petang aku akan naik van ASTRO ke Bukit Jalil, pastu naik train kat Tasik Selatan.

Dua tiga hari kebelakangan ni, train selalu buat hal so bersesakla sikit. Contohnya pagi tadi, train 7.27 ke Seremban was cancelled so orang-orang yang biasa naik trip tu terpaksa join dengan orang - orang yang naik trip 7.45 jadi cubalah bayangkan macamana packnya coach train. Heran aku tengok.

Renung - renungkan ....

WCIT 2008

Do you know that WCIT 2008 will be in Malaysia this coming weekend? World Congress of IT is a two yearly function organised by WITSA and UNGAID where delegates gather and discuss as well as having other programmes pertaining to ICT and development. For more information you can go to http://www.wcit2008.org/

ASTRO TVIQ is involved in broadcasting the summit and basically we are involve in the running of Earth ITernity Workshop for International Youth which will be held in IYC Cheras. Early this morning, Aida informed me that at 11.30am, we will be seeing Amir Mahmood razak from Awani because it seems that he is quite lost about the whole idea, so Aida wanted me to have adequate information so that I will be able to explain later on. At the same time, I am also preparing a set of 10 questions to be asked by JFK to selected delegates.

I try to imagine that I am doing the interview, so, who / what and several more ideas come into my mind. 3 prominent people would be the best candidates for the interview and they are Mr. Talal Abu Ghazaleh himself, Mr. Sabuland Khan or anybody from MSC or WCIT Sdn. Bhd and most probably our PM or any minister.

I outlined the protocol to 3 sections; first would be about UNGAID, second about WCIT 2008 and the last section would be the impact of WCIT to Malaysia and 9MP. JFK constantly reminded us to go all out for this event since it would be a good thing to be included in our resume ( heh heh ).

I am really looking forward to be in IYC this weekend because the opportunity of meeting about 200 youth delegates from all over the world would a once in a lifetime thing for me.

NATIONAL GUMDROP DAY ...

Today I concentrated on preparing the April Top 50 programmes report. We were supposed to have meeting with RL but due to something, the meeting was cancelled. Managed to finished the report by 11.30am and send a copy each to Aida and Jihan.

Jihan asked whether I have finished doing the powerpoint for TVIQ. Actually I did but there is something more to be added in. I visioned to produce a more interesting with flash images but unfortunately with my limited skills in that area, I managed to only come up with a lame ordinary presentation ( though Jihan said it was veryyyy nice )

Aida requested me to identify 60 hours of programmes to be purchased from Channel 4 but after going halfway through it, I just know I can't continue...Fortunately Aida said it was not ASAP.

I got one more important task today... Eventually, we are going to be involved with the World Congress IT this weekend. As elaborated by JFK yesterday, it is some sort of Olympics of ICT where International Delegates will be in KL to discuss as well as have conferences and forums on matters pertaining to ICT and Development. So I was required to check on the script produced by the script writer and also to produce at least 10 questions to be used by JFK during the interviews with selected delegates in KLCC.

Later, Aida informed me to get at least 20 fillers to be used next year. Fillers are actually short clips that can be used to fill in excessive time after certain show ( this is MY interpretation... ). Aida suggested that I look at celebrations, holidays and observances especially strange ones and touch on them to be mentioned in the fillers.I found that the world population looveee holidays till there are hundreds of celebrations in a year. The most funniest one I think will be National Gumdrop Day which is celebrated every 15 February to honour the gumdrop... How to celebrate it? According to the notes...eat as much gumdrops... OOuuiii..sweeet....

WHAT A DAY ...

I got a message from Mizah informing that Aishah's mother passed away. I quickly picked up the phone and rang her. She was at the cemetery and we talked for a while before I hang up.

Called Kak Fariza and was being told that my transfer forms have not been submitted because it was after the closing date. At the moment I am so pissed off with the person who deliberately made the decision of not submitting my form to be signed by the Director with the excuse that it was late...Did the person know that I did not plan to submit it late?

I was recently informed that abang Khaizu will be going through the surgery by May or June and it was kind of risky but they still need to do it to avoid more danger. I had to take some precautions and that was the reason why I asked for the transfer...

Everybody knows that I never planned to apply for any transfer but due to this matter, I need to do so... I really feel like running back to PSAS and ask the person whether he read the reason properly but it's okay... What goes around comes around ....

MONTHS OF WOES ...

Beginning on Wednesday, I travelled by train to Equine Park. It was a nice and smooth journey of 6.30 Metro bus from Bunga Raya. Then, I arrived at Rawang KTM Station at 7 and quickly boarded the 7.07 train to Seremban. Arrived at 8.15 in Serdang and got in the 8.30 Rapid bus to Putra Permai.

The best thing about using public transportation I guess, is the pleasure of relaxing and snoozing all the way from Rawang to Serdang. I do not have to hassle about driving and figuring out how to avoid traffic jam.

At 9.00 I reached Wisma Penyayang and immediately worked on my tasks though Aida kept on saying there are no more tasks to be given to me. Aida let me go very much early so that I can go to HKL to meet Cik.

While I was there, I got a phone call from Kak Errie asking my whereabout... She told me Abang Said was admitted to Pusrawi and will be getting an emergency surgery at 17.00 pm. Since Hasrul was a bit confused with the way, she asked whether I can drive the whole family including mine to Pusrawi and she wanted me to use their Unser.

So I rushed to Bunga Raya, fetched abang Khaizu and the children and quickly drove to Sg. Buaya. We reached Pusrawi exactly at fifteen to 1800. Straightaway we went to Level 5, As Salam Ward but abang Said was not there. The nurse told me that he is still in the OT so we moved to level 3.

Being in a hospital will always bring back old time memories though not many are sweet ones. I saw the nurse pushing a bed and I was pretty sure it was Abg. Said though Hadi said the man was shorter than his Ayah. I suggested to check whether it is really Abang Said and asked everybody to wait at Level 3. It is true, he was pushed out of the OT so I called everybody.

He was a bit weak but still managed to interact with the children as well joking around with my kids. We kept on warning the children to be more quiet for their Ayah's sake, but kids will always be kids.

Salwa voluntereed to stay and looked after the father and I was so proud of her. It reminded me to how adamant I was to stay at the ward, during the time Arwah Abah was warded last time in Selayang as well as in Raub...

I do pray that Abang Said will be okay... It will be difficult to the family if anything bad happens to him...

ACTING THE TECHNOLOGY THINGY...

Today, we went to Malacca to look at the Petrosains Actology. We started our journey at 8 in the morning and we slept along the way. I was kind of surprised that we managed to reach Ayer Keroh by 9.30. Referring to the itinerary, the event will only begin at 11.30, so we decided to have breakfast before heading to Taman Budaya.

As we reached the venue later, we discovered that the event had ended and they were actually waiting for the result. After some slow talk between Aida and Lash ( Petrosains Rep ), they agreed to arrange so that the winning team can perform again later.

As a whole, the event looks fine. It was kind of fun actually when the students perform their science sketch. The winning team is SM Tinggi St. Davis Malacca and they were doing a sketch on energy. Aida asked my opinion on whether the airing of this competition would sell, as for me definitely it would because we are actually educating the students on certain topics and theme but we put it in a more fun and attractive ways.

We were invited to join them for lunch but Aida said we better not, looking at the way others were eyeing us. We did feel a bit out of place but it is natural I guess. Anybody would feel the same way when we are among crowds who are not in the same league as ourselves.

We reached Wisma Penyayang at 14.45 and continued with our own works, Aida and Jihan were now busy doing their purchasing and assigning agreements and I am planning to finish preparing the analysis for SPM, PMR and UPSR as I planned yesterday.

I was a bit frustrated since I didn't manage to do any viewing yesterday due to technical faults. Though, they insisted that I don't have to do the viewing at home, but I think I'll do it since tomorrow we might need the feedback during our weekly meeting.

BIT BY BIT ...

I have managed to complete all the tasks assigned to me. This morning when I asked Aida, whether they have any other task to assign me, she said so far no more. I was a bit concerned because, it is not fun having no work to be done.

Then Aida asked me to browse through the pendrive given by Channel 4 to select the programmes and I did so, but unfortunately, we cannot access the materials. Aida asked me to
go to Channel 4 website and see what I can do about it.

CV came up with a bundle of screeners and since everybody is busy, I voluntereed to do the viewing. Thinking of going through the SPM, PMR and UPSR books later on to have a look at the analysis of Qs for the VOD.

HAPPY LABOUR DAY ...

It is always difficult to go to the office after having a reallllyyy relaxing one day holiday. What was even worse ... I can't sleep at all last night. Only managed to have a very short nap at about 5 am.

Nothing much happened yesterday, but I really enjoyed my one day off. We watched TV, eat, had afternoon sleep and more watching TV.

Last Wednesday, we ( Kelvin and me ) had a meeting with several secondary school teachers regarding VOD project. We had a very long and good discussion about what they expect out of the project and many more. Looking at all the expert teachers, I realised that I missed teaching in school especially the primary kids.

Earlier we had a surprise birthday lunch for Zainir ( the big boss ) and Bob Azrai. We had loads of seafood and cheese cake. Later, they celebrated Jackie's birthday and we had more cheese cakes.

I am addicted to Sundae Cone lately. Now I can really see what can sugar do to our body. Sometimes I do feel fatigue in the morning, having to drive from Rawang everyday. So what I did was, I stopped at Sunway McDonald's Drive Thru and ordered a cone and miraculously, though dangerous too, it somehow gave me energy.

I know I need to stop before it brings any harm to my body. Even abang Khaizu nowadays do whispers maybe I should lose some inches...

BTW, my leaflet's draft was ready on Wednesday ( I promised them it would be ready by Friday ), Jihan said it was cute and catchy.... I was kinda happy with my own work!!!
